Assumption of duties by a new Judge of the Court of Justice

Following his appointment as Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Communities by decision of the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States of the European Communities of 5 December 2007 (1), Mr Jean-Jacques Kasel took the oath before the Court on 14 January 2008.
