Prior notification of a concentration

(Case COMP/M.4727 — Segulah/Capman/JV)

1.

On 3 July 2007, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertaking Segulah II L.P. (‘Segulah’, Jersey) and Capman Plc (‘Capman’, Finland) will acquire within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Merger Regulation joint control of the pre-existing activities of Powermill Services Group AB (‘Powermill’, Sweden) and InfoCare Holding AS (‘Infocare’, Norway), by way of purchase of shares in a joint venture company.

2.

The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

for Segulah: private equity fund,

for Capman: private equity fund,

for Powermill: repair and maintenance for IT and Consumer electronics goods,

for Infocare: repair and maintenance for IT and Consumer electronics goods.

On preliminary examination, the Commission finds that the notified transaction could fall within the scope of Regulation (EC) No 139/2004. However, the final decision on this point is reserved.

The Commission invites interested third parties to submit their possible observations on the proposed operation to the Commission.
