Re-notification of a previously notified concentration
(Case COMP/M.4504 — SFR/TELE2 France)

On 28 November 2006, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of a Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which SFR SA (‘SFR’, France), an undertaking jointly controlled by Vivendi SA (‘Vivendi’, France) and Vodafone Group plc (‘Vodafone’, UK), acquires within the meaning of Article 3(1) (b) of the Council Regulation sole control of the fixed telephony and Internet business of the undertaking TELE 2 France (‘TELE 2’, France) by way of purchase of shares. This operation does not concern TELE 2's business in mobile telephony services. |

This notification has been declared incomplete on 11 December 2006. The undertakings concerned have now provided the further information required. The notification became complete within the meaning of Article 10(1) of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 on 29 January 2007. |

The Commission invites interested third parties to submit their possible observations on the proposed operation to the Commission. Observations must reach the Commission not later than 10 days following the date of this publication.
