Notification of the Lithuania’s national regulatory authority — National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (hereinafter ‘NCC’) — pursuant to Article 10(2) of Directive 2009/72/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning common rules for the internal market in electricity and repealing Directive 2003/54/EC regarding the designation of LITGRID AB as transmission system operator in Lithuania

Following the Lithuania’s regulatory authority’s final decision regarding the certification of LITGRID AB as ownership unbundled transmission system operator (Article 9 of the Electricity Directive) of 27 August 2013 (NCC’s Resolution No O3-325 as of 27 August 2013 on designation of the transmission system operator and issue of electricity transmission licence), Lithuania has notified to the European Commission the official designation of this company as a transmission system operator operating in Lithuania in accordance with Article 10 of Directive 2009/72/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.
