EXPLANATORY NOTE

(a)

Article 4(1) of Council Directive 2010/24/EU provides that each Member State shall inform the Commission of its competent authority or authorities (hereinafter respectively referred to as the ‘competent authority’) for the purpose of this Directive and shall inform the Commission without delay of any changes thereof. It also provides that the Commission shall make the information received available to the other Member States and publish a list of the competent authorities of the Member States in the C series of the Official Journal of the European Union.

(b)

This list reflects the contributions sent by the Member States.
