Title: Promotion of pollution control and climate protection (Saxony) - Sub-programme D

Objective: The objectives of the scheme are the control of air pollution and the protection of the climate. The scheme is organised in five sub-programmes: (A) energy saving, (B) use of renewable energies, (C) improvement of environmental sustainability of installations, (D) acquisition of low noise and low pollutant buses and (E) establishments of plans for sound emission and noise reduction.

The present decision only refers to aid under sub-programme D. The rest of sub-programs have already been approved by the Commission decision of 29 May 2002(1)
