Budget: The measure has an exclusively nationally financed budget of EUR 502837,8 (ATS 6919200)

Aid intensity or amount: The aid is paid per animal held on the farm (ATS 400 or EUR 29,06 per head for the first 25 head of cattle and ATS 200 or EUR 14,53 per head for the next 25 head of cattle). The number of the eligible animals is determined by the authorities on the basis of the list of animals provided in the general application form 2001 ("Tierliste des Mehrfachantrages 2001"). Only animals that were older than six months on 1 April 2001 are eligible for aid. The maximum aid per farm is ATS 15000 (EUR 1090)

The number of the eligible animals is determined by the authorities on the basis of the number of animals registered in the cattle database ("Rinderdatenbank") of Agrarmarkt Austria on 1 April 2001. The maximum aid per farm is ATS 10000 (EUR 726,73)
