ASSENT No 14/83 given by the Council under Article 56 (2) (a) of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community to the granting by the Commission of the following conversion loan for the provision of productive new employment for former European Coal and Steel Community workers:- £ 3 100 000 (approximately 5,48 million ECU) to Smith Kendon Ltd, UnitedKingdom, for a project located at Bridgend, South Wales

Assent was sought by the Commission in a communication sent to the Council on 12 January 1983.

It was given by the Council at its 831st meeting on 8 and 9 March 1983.
