ASSENT No 31/81 given by the Council, pursuant to the second paragraph of Article 54 of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community, on the partial financing of a project designed to provide natural gas to the steel making plant of Irish Steel at Haulbowline, Cork (Ireland)

In a letter dated 24 July 1981, the Commission of the European Communities requested the assent of the Council of the European Communities, under the second paragraph of Article 54 of the Treaty establishing the European Coal and Steel Community on the partial financing of a project designed to provide natural gas to the steel making plant of Irish Steel at Haulbowline, Cork (Ireland).

At its 729th meeting on 19 October 1981, the Council gave its assent as requested by the Commission.
