ASSENT No 6/78 given by the Council, pursuant to Article 56 (2) (a) of the ECSC Treaty, to enable the Commission to grant the following reconversion loans approximately: 3.7 million EUA (± DM 10 million) to the Saarländische Investitionskreditbank AG to help in the creation and expansion of small and medium-sized industrial activities in the Saar.

The Commission had requested these assents in communications forwarded to the Council under cover of letters dated 18, 21 and 22 December 1977 respectively.

The Council gave the assents in question at its 506th meeting held on 20 March 1978.
