Council declaration concerning the priority to be given to third States and non-European Union-related bodies

The Council is of the understanding that the Management Board of Europol, in reaching its decision according to Article 3(1) in conjunction with Article 2(2) of the Council Decision of 27 March 2000, should give priority to the accession candidates, the Schengen cooperation partners (Iceland and Norway), Switzerland and Interpol.
