Communication on the appointment of new members and the Chairman of the European Consultative Forum on the Environment and Sustainable Development

Pursuant to Decision of 16 April 1999, the Commission has appointed Paolo Costa, Grazia Francescato, Jill Johnstone, Jernej Stritih, Rob Van der Horst and Barbara Young as members of the European Consultative Forum on the Environment and Sustainable Development until 28 February 2001, and has designated Mr Jens Kampmann, current member of the Forum, as Chairman of the European Consultative Forum on the Environment and Sustainable Development for a period of two years.
