COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1012/84

of 10 April 1984

amending Regulation (EEC) No 1577/81 establishing a system of simplified procedures for the determination of the customs value of certain perishable goods

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 1224/80 of 28 May 1980 on the valuation of goods for customs purposes (1), as amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3193/80 (2), and in particular Article 16a (3) thereof,

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 1577/81 (3), as last amended by Regulation (EEC) No 3063/82 (4), established a system of simplified procedures for the determination of the customs value of certain perishable goods; whereas subsequent experience gained by Member States has demonstrated the need to modify the list of goods set out in Annex I to that Regulation and at the same time to adapt Annex II;

Whereas the provisions of this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Customs Valuation Committee,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

The Annexes to Regulation (EEC) No 1577/81 are replaced by the Annexes to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on 27 April 1984.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
