DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 41/2021

amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) and Annex IV (Energy) to the EEA Agreement [2024/5]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/987 of 20 January 2020 correcting certain language versions of Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1254/2014 supplementing Directive 2010/30/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to energy labelling of residential ventilation units (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2)	Annexes II and IV to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The following indent is added in point 4o (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1254/2014) of Chapter IV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

‘-	32020 R 0987: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/987 of 20 January 2020 (OJ L 221, 10.7.2020, p. 1).’

Article 2

The following indent is added in point 11o (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1254/2014) of Annex IV to the EEA Agreement:

‘-	32020 R 0987: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/987 of 20 January 2020 (OJ L 221, 10.7.2020, p. 1).’

Article 3

The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2020/987 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 4

This Decision shall enter into force on 6 February 2021, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).

Article 5

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
