THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)	Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1851 of 14 June 2016 adopting the programme of ad hoc modules, covering the years 2019, 2020 and 2021, for the labour force sample survey provided for by Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98 (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2)	Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

the text of point 18a (Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98) is replaced by the following:

‘ 31998 R 0577: Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98 of 9 March 1998 on the organisation of a labour force sample survey in the Community (OJ L 77, 14.3.1998, p. 3), as amended by:

—	32002 R 1991: Regulation (EC) No 1991/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 8 October 2002 (OJ L 308, 9.11.2002, p. 1),

—	32002 R 2104: Commission Regulation (EC) No 2104/2002 of 28 November 2002 (OJ L 324, 29.11.2002, p. 14),

—	32003 R 2257: Regulation (EC) No 2257/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2003 (OJ L 336, 23.12.2003, p. 6),

—	32007 R 1372: Regulation (EC) No 1372/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2007 (OJ L 315, 3.12.2007, p. 42),

—	32014 R 0545: Regulation (EU) No 545/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 15 May 2014 (OJ L 163, 29.5.2014, p. 10).

The provisions of the Regulation shall, for the purposes of this Agreement, be read with the following adaptations:

(a)	This Regulation shall not apply to Liechtenstein.

(b)	Iceland shall be exempted from providing data specified in the ad hoc module covering the year 2021.’;

the following point is inserted after point 18aw (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2016/2236):

‘18ax.

32016 R 1851: Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1851 of 14 June 2016 adopting the programme of ad hoc modules, covering the years 2019, 2020 and 2021, for the labour force sample survey provided for by Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98 (OJ L 284, 20.10.2016, p. 1).’.

Article 2

The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1851 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 7 July 2018, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
