Information on the date of entry into force of the Fisheries Partnership Agreement between the European Union and the Solomon Islands
On 7 December 2010, the European Union notified the Solomon Islands of the completion by the Council, on behalf of the European Union, of the procedures necessary for the entry into force of the above Agreement, signed at Brussels on 21 October 2010.
Likewise, the Solomon Islands notified on 9 March 2011 the European Union of the completion of its conclusion procedures.
The agreement accordingly entered into force on 9 March 2011 pursuant to Article 18 thereof.
