DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)	Annex II to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 117/2006 of 22 September 2006 (1).

(2)	Commission Directive 2006/45/EC of 16 May 2006 amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC as regards the specification of the active substance propoxycarbazone (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

(3)	Commission Directive 2006/41/EC of 7 July 2006 amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC to include clothianidin and pethoxamid as active substances (3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

(4)	Commission Directive 2006/64/EC of 18 July 2006 amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC to include clopyralid, cyprodinil, fosetyl and trinexapac as active substances (4) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

(5)	Commission Directive 2006/74/EC of 21 August 2006 amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC to include dichlorprop-P, metconazole, pyrimethanil and triclopyr as active substances (5) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

(6)	Commission Directive 2006/75/EC of 11 September 2006 amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC to include dimoxystrobin as active substance (6) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

(7)	Commission Directive 2006/76/EC of 22 September 2006 amending Council Directive 91/414/EEC as regards the specification of the active substance chlorothalonil (7) is to be incorporated into the Agreement,

HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

Article 1

The following indents shall be added in point 12a (Council Directive 91/414/EEC) of Chapter XV of Annex II to the Agreement:

—	32006 L 0064: Commission Directive 2006/64/EC of 18 July 2006 (OJ L 206, 27.7.2006, p. 107),

—	32006 L 0074: Commission Directive 2006/74/EC of 21 August 2006 (OJ L 235, 30.8.2006, p. 17),

—	32006 L 0075: Commission Directive 2006/75/EC of 11 September 2006 (OJ L 248, 12.9.2006, p. 3),

—	32006 L 0076: Commission Directive 2006/76/EC of 22 September 2006 (OJ L 263, 23.9.2006, p. 9).’

Article 2

The texts of Directives 2006/45/EC, 2006/41/EC, 2006/64/EC, 2006/74/EC, 2006/75/EC and 2006/76/EC in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 28 April 2007, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
