++++ Declaration by the European Economic Community on the participation of Spain and Portugal in the benefits derived from the resources of the European Regional Development Fund In order to ensure that Spain and Portugal participate in the benefits derived from the resources of the European Regional Development Fund as from accession , the Community will , before accession , adapt the provisions of Council Regulation ( EEC ) No 1787/84 of 19 June 1984 on the European Regional Development Fund , which fix the upper and lower limits of the range allocated to each Member State .
