A preparation of endo–1,4-beta-xylanase, subtilisin and alpha-amylase, 6-phytase produced by Trichoderma reesei (ATCC SD-6528), a preparation of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (PTA-6507), Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (NRRL B-50013) and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens (NRRL B-50104), a preparation of 6-phytase produced by Trichoderma reesei (ATCC SD-6528), 6-phytase produced by Schizosaccharomyces pombe (ATCC 5233), a preparation of Bacillus velezensis PTA-6507, Bacillus velezensis NRRL B-50013 and Bacillus velezensis NRRL B-50104, endo–1,4-beta-xylanase produced by Trichoderma reesei CBS 143953, a preparation of 6-phytase produced by Trichoderma reesei CBS 146250, a preparation of endo–1,4-beta-xylanase produced by Trichoderma reesei CBS 143953 and endo–1,3(4)-beta-glucanase produced by Trichoderma reesei CBS 143945, a preparation of endo–1,4-beta-xylanase produced by Trichoderma reesei ATCC PTA-5588, protease produced by Bacillus subtilis CBS 148232 and alpha-amylase produced by Bacillus licheniformis ATCC SD-6525 were authorised as feed additives (‘feed additives concerned’) by Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) No 389/2011 (2), (EU) 2016/899 (3), (EU) 2017/440 (4), (EU) 2017/896 (5), (EU) 2020/164 (6), (EU) 2020/166 (7), (EU) 2021/2051 (8), (EU) 2021/2096 (9), (EU) 2023/1167 (10), (EU) 2023/1703 (11), and (EU) 2023/1713 (12), respectively.

The holder of the authorisations for the feed additives concerned, Danisco (UK) Ltd (trading also as Danisco Animal Nutrition), has submitted an application in accordance with Article 13(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 proposing to change the name of the holder of the authorisations for the feed additives concerned to Genencor International B.V.

The proposed change of the terms of the authorisations is purely administrative in nature and does not entail a fresh assessment of the feed additives concerned. The European Food Safety Authority was informed of the application.

To allow Genencor International B.V. to exploit its marketing rights, it is necessary to change the terms of the authorisations concerned.

Implementing Regulations (EU) No 389/2011, (EU) No 2016/899, (EU) 2017/440, (EU) 2017/896, (EU) 2020/164, (EU) 2020/166, (EU) 2021/2051, (EU) 2021/2096, (EU) 2023/1167, (EU) 2023/1703 and (EU) 2023/1713 should therefore, be amended accordingly.

Since safety reasons do not require the immediate application of the amendments made by this Regulation, it is appropriate to allow a transitional period during which existing stocks may be used up.
