DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE
No 99/2016
of 29 April 2016
amending Annex XVI (Procurement) to the EEA Agreement [2017/2049]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

(1) |
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1986 of 11 November 2015 establishing standard forms for the publication of notices in the field of public procurement and repealing Implementing Regulation (EU) No 842/2011 (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

(2) |
Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1986 repeals Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 842/2011 (2), which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement. |
|
(3) |
Annex XVI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Annex XVI to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

The following point is inserted after point 6f (Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council):

2. |
The text of point 6d (Implementing Regulation (EU) No 842/2011) is deleted. |
Article 2
The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1986 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 30 April 2016, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 97/2016 of 29 April 2016 (3), whichever is the later.
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
