    DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

    No 208/2012

    of 7 December 2012

    amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement

    THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

    Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

    Whereas:

    (1)

    Commission Regulation (EU) No 459/2012 of 29 May 2012 amending Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Regulation (EC) No 692/2008 as regards emissions from light passenger and commercial vehicles (Euro 6) (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

    (2)

    Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

    HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

    Article 1

    The following indent shall be added in point 45zt (Regulation (EC) No 715/2007 of the European Parliament and of the Council) and 45zu (Commission Regulation (EC) No 692/2008) of Chapter I of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

    ‘—

    32012 R 0459: Commission Regulation (EU) No 459/2012 of 29 May 2012 (OJ L 142, 1.6.2012, p. 16).’.

    Article 2

    The text of Regulation (EU) No 459/2012 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

    Article 3

    This Decision shall enter into force on 8 December 2012, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).

    Article 4

    This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
