    DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE

    No 91/2008

    of 4 July 2008

    amending Annex XXI (Statistics) to the EEA Agreement

    THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

    Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as amended by the Protocol adjusting the Agreement on the European Economic Area, hereinafter referred to as ‘the Agreement’, and in particular Article 98 thereof,

    Whereas:

    (1)

    Annex XXI to the Agreement was amended by Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 74/2008 of 6 June 2008 (1).

    (2)

    Commission Regulation (EC) No 207/2008 of 5 March 2008 adopting the specifications of the 2009 ad hoc module on the entry of young people into the labour market provided for by Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98 (2) is to be incorporated into the Agreement.

    (3)

    Commission Regulation (EC) No 212/2008 of 7 March 2008 amending Annex I to Regulation (EC) No 138/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the economic accounts for agriculture in the Community (3) is to be incorporated into the Agreement,

    HAS DECIDED AS FOLLOWS:

    Article 1

    Annex XXI to the Agreement shall be amended as follows:

    1.

    The following point shall be inserted after point 18ak (Commission Regulation (EC) No 102/2007):

    ‘18al.

    32008 R 0207: Commission Regulation (EC) No 207/2008 of 5 March 2008 adopting the specifications of the 2009 ad hoc module on the entry of young people into the labour market provided for by Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98 (OJ L 62, 6.3.2008, p. 4).’

    2.

    The following indent shall be added in point 24c (Regulation (EC) No 138/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council):

    ‘—

    32008 R 0212: Commission Regulation (EC) No 212/2008 of 7 March 2008 (OJ L 65, 8.3.2008, p. 5).’

    Article 2

    The texts of Regulations (EC) No 207/2008 and (EC) No 212/2008 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

    Article 3

    This Decision shall enter into force on 5 July 2008, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the Agreement have been made to the EEA Joint Committee (*1).

    Article 4

    This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
