Initiative summary:
The initiative aims at extending data sharing and third-party access currently provided in relation to payments to a wider range of financial sectors and products, based on the principle that financial services customers own and control both the data they supply and which is created on their behalf. It will build on horizontal measures, such as the Data Act.
