Proposal for a COUNCIL REGULATION amending Regulation (EU) No 904/2010 as regards measures to strengthen administrative cooperation in order to combat VAT fraud
- Initiative summary:
- This initiative aims to prevent VAT fraud in cross-border e-commerce transactions. The proposal will amend Council Regulation (EU) 904/2010 so as to provide for a mandatory transmission of data from payment service providers to Member State competent authorities, and subsequent exchange of information amongst competent authorities.
