Renewal of the term of office of the members and appointment of new members of the Committee of Experts on the transit of natural gas through grids, set up by Commission Decision 95/539/EC(1)

By its decision of 11 October 2000, the Commission renews the term of office for a further four years for:

- the independent experts Mr Brothwood, Mr Segbers and Mr Werquin,

- the representative of Eurogas, Mr Maire,

- the representatives of the high-pressure natural gas transmission grids:

Mr Adilstam, for Sweden,

Mr Asserhøj, for Denmark,

Mr Breen, for Ireland,

Mr Bouchard, for France,

Mr Calvalho Neto, for Portugal,

Mr Le Fèvre, for the United Kingdom,

Mr Krug, for Austria,

Mr Mensink, for the Netherlands,

Mr Moraleda, for Spain,

Mr Peeraer, for Belgium,

Mr Sponheuer, for Germany,

Mr Tsombanopoulos, for Greece,

Mr Vainikka, for Finland,

Mr Zavattoni, for Italy.

The Commission appoints to the position of new member of the committee as the representative of the high-pressure transmission grid for Luxembourg:

Mr Jean Lucius, Director, SOTEG SA. Mr Lucius replaces Mr André Simon.
