A4-0106/95 Decision on the joint text of the Conciliation Committee for a European Parliament and Council Directive amending Directives 77/780/EEC and 89/646/EEC in the field of credit institutions, Directives 73/239/EEC and 92/49/EEC in the field of non-life insurance, Directives 79/267/EEC and 92/96/EEC in the field of life insurance, Directive 93/22/EEC in the field of investment firms and Directive 85/611/EEC in the field of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (Ucits), with a view to reinforcing prudential supervision (C4-0164/95 - 00/0468(COD)) (Codecision procedure: third reading) The European Parliament, - having regard to the joint text approved by the Conciliation Committee, C4-0164/95 - 00/0468(COD), - having regard to its opinion at first reading (( OJ C 91, 28.3.1994, p. 61.)) on the Commission proposal to Parliament and the Council, COM(93)0363 (( OJ C 229, 25.8.1993, p. 10.)), - having regard to its decision on the common position (( OJ C 323, 21.11.1994, p. 56.)), - having regard to the Commission's opinion on Parliament's amendments to the common position (C4-0240/94), - having regard to Article 189b(5) of the EC Treaty, - having regard to Rule 77(2) of its Rules of Procedure, - having regard to the report of its delegation to the Conciliation Committee (A4-0106/95), 1. Approves the joint text; 2. Instructs its President to sign the act with the President of the Council, pursuant to Article 191(1) of the EC Treaty; 3. Instructs its Secretary-General duly to sign the act and, in agreement with the Secretary-General of the Council, to have it published in the Official Journal; 4. Instructs its President to forward this decision to the Council and Commission.
