Definitive adoption of the European Union's general budget for the financial year 2014

All amounts in this budget document are expressed in euro unless otherwise indicated.Any revenue provided for in Article 21(2) and (3) of the Financial Regulation, entered in Titles 5 and 6 of the statement of revenue, may lead to additional appropriations being entered on the headings which bore the initial expenditure giving rise to the corresponding revenue.Figures for outturn refer to all authorised appropriations, including budget appropriations, additional appropriations and earmarked revenue.A revised Financial Regulation entered into force on 27 October 2012 (Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union and repealing Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 1605/2002, OJ L 298, 26.10.2012, p. 1)).In the 2014 budget, all references to the Financial Regulation are based on Regulation (EU, Euratom) No 966/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on the financial rules applicable to the general budget of the Union and repealing Council Regulation (EC, Euratom) No 1605/2002, (OJ L 298, 26.10.2012, p. 1).
