Zelenodolsk Shipyard is one of the largest shipbuilding enterprises in Russia. It built the “Vasily Bykov” Black Sea Fleet patrol ship, which took part in the illegal Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. On 24 February 2022“Vasily Bykov” attacked Ukrainian soldiers defending Snake Island.

Therefore, Zelenodolsk Shipyard is responsible for supporting, materially or financially, actions which undermine or threatened the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine.
