RÅDETS AFGØRELSE
af 1. januar 2007
om beskikkelse af bulgarske og rumænske medlemmer af og suppleanter til Regionsudvalget
(2007/6/EF)
RÅDET FOR DEN EUROPÆISKE UNION HAR —
under henvisning til traktaten om oprettelse af Det Europæiske Fællesskab, særlig artikel 263, stk. 4,
under henvisning til akten om Bulgariens og Rumæniens tiltrædelse, særlig artikel 13 og 49,
under henvisning til indstillingerne fra Republikken Bulgariens og Rumæniens regeringer, og
ud fra følgende betragtninger:

Ved Rådets afgørelse 2006/116/EF (1) er medlemmerne af og suppleanterne til Regionsudvalget blevet beskikket for perioden fra den 26. januar 2006 til den 25. januar 2010. |
|
(2) |
Som følge af Republikken Bulgariens og Rumæniens tiltrædelse af Den Europæiske Union skal Regionsudvalget udvides ved beskikkelse af 27 medlemmer og 27 suppleanter, der repræsenterer de regionale og lokale myndigheder i de nye medlemsstater, og som enten skal være valgt til en regional eller lokal myndighed eller skal være politisk ansvarlig over for en valgt forsamling — |
TRUFFET FØLGENDE AFGØRELSE:
Artikel 1
Følgende medlemmer og suppleanter beskikkes til Regionsudvalget for perioden til og med den 25. januar 2010:

Som medlemmer beskikkes de personer, der for hver medlemsstat er opført på listen i bilag I. |
|
— |
Som suppleanter beskikkes de personer, der for hver medlemsstat er opført på listen i bilag II. |
Artikel 2
Denne afgørelse har virkning fra dagen for vedtagelsen.
Den anvendes fra den 1. januar 2007.
Udfærdiget i Bruxelles, den 1. januar 2007.
