Declaration of the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States meeting within the Council on Council Regulation (EEC) No 1224/80 of 28 May 1980 on the valuation of goods for customs purposes (1)

"The Representatives of the Governments of the Member States meeting within the Council state that they will apply this Regulation for the determination of the value for customs purposes of the products listed in Annex I to the Treaty establishing the ECSC.

However, it is agreed that, for these products, each Member State shall retain the option of replacing the concept of Community customs territory by the concept of national customs territory, particularly for determining the place of introduction to be taken into account for determining customs value."
