DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 146/2026
of 30 April 2026
amending Annex XI (Electronic communication, audiovisual services and information society) to the EEA Agreement [2026/1516]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/291 of 9 February 2026 amending Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1730, as regards additional use cases in the paired 874,4-880 MHz and 919,4-925 MHz frequency bands for Railway Mobile Radio (notified under document C(2026)674) (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annex XI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following is added in point 5czu (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/1730) of Annex XI to the EEA Agreement:

Article 2
The text of Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/291 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 May 2026, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
