DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 305/2025
of 5 December 2025
amending Annex IX (Financial services) and Annex XXII (Company law) to the EEA Agreement [2026/611]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:
|
(1) |
Regulation (EU) 2023/2869 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2023 amending certain Regulations as regards the establishment and functioning of the European single access point (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |
|
(2) |
Annexes IX and XXII to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Point 14a (Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Annex IX to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:

The following indent is added:

The text of adaptation (o) is replaced by the following: ‘In Articles 413, 415 and 434b, the words “Union law” shall be replaced by the words “the EEA Agreement”.’ |
Article 2
Point 19c (Regulation (EU) 2019/2033 of the European Parliament and of the Council) of Annex IX to the EEA Agreement is amended as follows:

Article 15
The text of Regulation (EU) 2023/2869 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 16
This Decision shall enter into force on 6 December 2025, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 71/2024 of 4 July 2024 (2) or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 70/2025 of 14 March 2025 (3), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 41/2025 of 20 February 2025 (4), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 303/2025 of 5 December 2025 (5), whichever is the later.
Article 17
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
