COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2026/1154

of 29 May 2026

amending Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 as regards the deletion of methoxyfenozide, penthiopyrad and terpenoid blend QRD 460 from the list of active substances approved under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market and repealing Council Directives 79/117/EEC and 91/414/EEC (1), and in particular Article 78(2) thereof,

Whereas:

The Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (2) lists active substances approved or deemed to have been approved under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009.

The active substances methoxyfenozide, penthiopyrad and terpenoid blend QRD 460 are currently listed in the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011. For those active substances, no applications for renewal were submitted or applications were submitted but withdrawn. Following the expiry of their respective approval periods, they are no longer approved.

Therefore, these active substances should be deleted from the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011.

The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

The Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.

(a)

entry 57, penthiopyrad;

(b)

entry 84, terpenoid blend QRD 460;

(2)

in Part E, entry 11, methoxyfenozide, is deleted.
