COMMISSION IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2025/808

amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/408 as regards the deletion of gamma-cyhalothrin, ipconazole and oxamyl from the list of active substances to be considered as candidates for substitution

THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market and repealing Council Directives 79/117/EEC and 91/414/EEC (1), and in particular Article 78(2) thereof,
Whereas:

The Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/408 (2) contains a list of active substances which satisfy the criteria set out in point 4 of Annex II to Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 for being considered as candidates for substitution. |

The approval of the active substance gamma-cyhalothrin expired on 31 March 2025 while the approval of the active substance ipconazole was withdrawn with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/939 (3) and the approval of the active substance oxamyl was not renewed with Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/741 (4). Therefore, their listing in the Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/408 is no longer relevant. In the interest of clarity and transparency, they should be deleted from that Annex. |

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/408 should therefore be amended accordingly. |

The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
The Annex to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/408 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.

ANNEX
