of 19 December 2024
correcting Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/642 amending Annex III to Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards certain information to be provided on the labelling of organic products
THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2018 on organic production and labelling of organic products and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 (1), and in particular Article 23(2), point (a), thereof,

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/642 (2) replaces point 2.1 of Annex III to Regulation (EU) 2018/848. In that Annex, the last paragraph of point 2.1.3 relates to the information referred to in the previous points 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 setting out rules on the packaging and transport of organic products and in-conversion products and on additional indications for compound feed authorised in organic production. In particular, that paragraph introduces a requirement concerning the presentation of the information referred to in points 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 It should not have been included in point 2.1.3 which relates to additional indications for the mixture of fodder plant seeds only. That paragraph should be a separate point. That error should therefore be corrected. |

Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/642 should therefore be corrected accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
Corrections to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/642
In the Annex to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/642, point 2 of Annex III to Regulation (EU) 2018/848 is corrected as follows:

the last paragraph of point 2.1.3 is deleted; |

(2) |
the following point is added:

Article 2
Entry into force
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
