DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 306/2024

of 6 December 2024

amending Annex XXI (Statistics) to the EEA Agreement [2025/571]

THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,

Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 of 16 December 2021 on the data to be provided for the reference year 2023 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council on integrated farm statistics as regards the list of variables and their description and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009 (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement.

(2)

Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 repeals Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009 (2), which is incorporated into the EEA Agreement, and which is consequently to be repealed under the EEA Agreement.

(3)

By virtue of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 327/2019 of 13 December 2019, Regulation (EU) No 2018/1091 does not apply to Liechtenstein.

(4)

Annex XXI to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

The text of point 23a (Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009) is replaced with the following:

‘ 32021 R 2286: Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 of 16 December 2021 on the data to be provided for the reference year 2023 pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2018/1091 of the European Parliament and of the Council on integrated farm statistics as regards the list of variables and their description and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 1200/2009 (OJ L 458, 22.12.2021, p. 284).’

Article 2

The text of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2286 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.

Article 3

This Decision shall enter into force on 7 December 2024, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).

Article 4

This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
