DECISION OF THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE No 348/2021
of 10 December 2021
amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) and Annex IV (Energy) to the EEA Agreement [2024/666]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (“the EEA Agreement”), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/340 of 17 December 2020 amending Delegated Regulations (EU) 2019/2013, (EU) 2019/2014, (EU) 2019/2015, (EU) 2019/2016, (EU) 2019/2017 and (EU) 2019/2018 with regard to energy labelling requirements for electronic displays, household washing machines and household washer-dryers, light sources, refrigerating appliances, household dishwashers, and refrigerating appliances with a direct sales function (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annexes II and IV to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The following is added in points 4v (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2013), 4w (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2014), 4x (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2015), 4y (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016), 4z (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2017) and 4za (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2018) of Chapter IV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement:

Article 2
The following is added in points 11v (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2013), 11w (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2014), 11x (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2015), 11y (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016), 11z (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2017) and 11za (Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2018) of Annex IV to the EEA Agreement:

Article 3
The text of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/340 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 4
This Decision shall enter into force on 11 December 2021, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1).
Article 5
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
