amending Annex II (Technical regulations, standards, testing and certification) to the EEA Agreement [2015/1275]
THE EEA JOINT COMMITTEE,
Having regard to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (‘the EEA Agreement’), and in particular Article 98 thereof,
Whereas:

(1) |
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 85/2014 of 30 January 2014 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 as regards the extension of the approval period of the active substance copper compounds (1) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |
|
(2) |
Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 108/2014 of 5 February 2014 concerning the non-approval of the active substance potassium thiocyanate, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market (2) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 116/2014 of 6 February 2014 concerning the non-approval of the active substance potassium iodide, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market (3) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 193/2014 of 27 February 2014 approving the active substance amisulbrom, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, and amending the Annex to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 540/2011 (13) is to be incorporated into the EEA Agreement. |

Annex II to the EEA Agreement should therefore be amended accordingly, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
Chapter XV of Annex II to the EEA Agreement shall be amended as follows:

Article 2
The texts of Implementing Regulations (EU) No 85/2014, EU (No) 108/2014, EU (No) 116/2014, EU (No) 140/2014, EU (No) 141/2014, EU (No) 143/2014, EU (No) 144/2014, EU (No) 145/2014, EU (No) 149/2014, EU (No) 151/2014, EU (No) 154/2014, EU (No) 192/2014 and EU (No) 193/2014 in the Icelandic and Norwegian languages, to be published in the EEA Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union, shall be authentic.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on 1 October 2014, provided that all the notifications under Article 103(1) of the EEA Agreement have been made (*1), or on the day of the entry into force of Decision of the EEA Joint Committee No 203/2014 of 30 September 2014 (14), whichever is the later.
Article 4
This Decision shall be published in the EEA Section of, and in the EEA Supplement to, the Official Journal of the European Union.
