The sitting opened at 15:14.

3.   Formal sitting – Address by Nataša Pirc Musar, President of the Republic of Slovenia

The President made an address to welcome Nataša Pirc Musar, President of the Republic of Slovenia.

Nataša Pirc Musar addressed the House.

4.   Approval of the minutes of the previous sitting

The minutes of the previous sitting were approved.

5.   Verification of credentials

On the basis of a unanimous proposal made by the JURI Committee at its meeting of 13 May 2025, Parliament verified the credentials of Volker Schnurrbusch in accordance with Rule 3(4), and confirmed the validity of Mr Schnurrbusch's mandate as of 4 April 2025.

6.   Composition of committees and delegations

The PfE and Verts/ALE groups and the non-attached Members had notified the President of the following decisions changing the composition of the committees and delegations:

7.   Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (Rule 72)

The committee responsible had decided to enter into interinstitutional negotiations pursuant to Rule 72 on the basis of the following report:
