COUNCIL DECISION

of 11 February 2026

replacing a member of the Management Board of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work for Czechia

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,

Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,

Having regard to Regulation (EU) 2019/126 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 January 2019 establishing the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA), and repealing Council Regulation (EC) No 2062/94 (1), and in particular Article 4 thereof,

Whereas:

(1)

By Decision of 28 March 2023 (2), the Council appointed members and alternate members of the Management Board of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work for the period from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2027.

(2)

A seat as member in the representatives of employees’ organisations category has fallen vacant as a result of the resignation of Mr Václav PROCHÁZKA.

(3)

The employees’ organisation ETUC has designated a candidate for the vacant seat,

HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:

Article 1

Mr Radek BRABEC is appointed member of the Management Board of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work in place of Mr Václav PROCHÁZKA for the remainder of the current term of office, ending on 31 March 2027.

Article 2

This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
