The European Union hereby notifies the Specialised Committee on Law Enforcement and Judicial Cooperation of the following in relation to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, of the one part, and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, of the other part (the ‘Trade and Cooperation Agreement’).

For the purpose of execution of a sentence of imprisonment, the issuing judicial authority is regional court based on the incriminating judgment imposing imprisonment, or a ruling reversing suspension of execution of sentence or a ruling concerning referral of an individual released from custody based on probation to serve the remaining sentence in the territory of a court delivering judgment.
