In accordance with provisions in the Emergency Management Act, Danish Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) is responsible for preparing the national plan for preparedness against nuclear accidents as well as operational tasks in this regard, including delivering special decision-making support for other sector authorities. GERMANY

In Germany, a large number of authorities assume responsibility tasks in radiation protection. The competent authorities in the federal states are predominantly responsible for supervising implementation of radiation protection law. But federal authorities also take on tasks in the Radiation protection true, cf. in detail §§ 184 ff. of the Radiation Protection Act.
