1. Resumption of the session
The session adjourned on Thursday 9 February 2023 was resumed.
2. Opening of the sitting
The sitting opened at 17.04.
3. Statements by the President
The President gave a statement on the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. She expressed Parliament's solidarity with the victims and their families.
Parliament observed a minute's silence.
The President reported on Parliament's extraordinary sitting held 9 February to mark the visit by President Zelenskyy. She praised his courage and the strong message he had sent to the whole of Europe. The President welcomed Parliament's continuing solidarity with Ukraine.
4. Approval of the minutes of the previous sittings
The minutes of the sittings of 1 February 2023, 2 February 2023 and 9 February 2023 were approved.
5. Request for the waiver of immunity
The President had received a request from the relevant Polish authorities to waive of the immunity of Patryk Jaki, Beata Kempa, Beata Mazurek and Tomasz Piotr Poręba in connection with a private case brought before Warsaw-Mokotów district court.
Pursuant to Rule 9(1), the request was referred to the JURI Committee, which had competence for such matters.

7. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (Rule 71) (action taken)
The decision of the LIBE Committee to enter into interinstitutional negotiations had been announced on 1 February 2023 (minutes of 1.2.2023, item 6).
Since no requests for vote pursuant to Rule 71(2) had been received, the committee responsible was able to begin negotiations upon expiry of the deadline set.

9. Corrigendum (Rule 241) (action taken)
Corrigendum P9_TA(2022)0006(COR01) had been announced on 1 February 2023 (minutes of 1.2.2023, item 5).
As no request had been made for a vote pursuant to Rule 241(4), this corrigendum was deemed to have been approved.
The following spoke: Markéta Gregorová on the situation in Moldova and requested that the President make a statement in support of the country's pathway towards Europe (the President agreed).
10. Order of business
