About the electronic edition of the Official Journal

Electronic editions of the OJ (e-OJ) published after 1 July 2013 are authentic (have legal force). See Regulation (EU) No 216/2013.

The paper version no longer has any legal value - except when we are unable to publish an OJ online because of unforeseen disruption to our IT systems.
