What's new?

New online learning section

EUR-Lex has a brand new learning section with short videos to help you get the most out of your EUR-Lex experience.

You can reach it by clicking on the banner on the homepage:

or on the main help page:

There is a guided tour of EUR-Lex, and a series of videos categorised under four main headings: EUR-Lex content, Finding documents, Documents in context and Personalise your experience.

You can watch the videos in order, choose a section to focus on, or go straight to the video you are interested in.

Each video has subtitles in all official EU languages and there is a quiz at the end of each section so you can assess your knowledge.

The online learning section is available in English, and will be available in all official EU languages in the autumn. Video transcripts in all official EU languages will be available soon.

We welcome any feedback you may have about the new online learning section.

Accessibility

We have updated the colours and backgrounds of our buttons and icons to improve the colour contrast. Some buttons were also redesigned.

Our links will also now be more consistently accessible, thanks to updated colours and when necessary underlined link text.

We have also made some colour-contrast improvements in the main menu, the left-hand navigation panes, the tables of contents and the consolidation texts panes.

Browse by institutions

Did you know that you can browse EUR-Lex documents by the institutions that adopted them?

Click Browse by EU institutions in the main menu and then select an institution.

Depending on the institution, you can browse documents according to their types (e.g. regulations or judgments of the Court of Justice) and/or years. For the Parliament, you can also browse by assembly sessions.

You can learn more about this and our other browsing options by watching the videos in our new online learning section, or by looking at the Browse by EU institutions help page.
