Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Communities and Albania

The EU and Albania should establish close cooperation on a wide range of policy areas to help the development and growth potential of Albania.
The agreement establishes a stabilisation and association council (SAC) to supervise the application and implementation of the agreement.The SAC is assisted by a stabilisation and association committee, composed of representatives of the Council of the EU and the European Commission, on the one hand, and of representatives of the government of Albania on the other.
