From today a new version of the advanced search is available, allowing for more detailed searches and giving access to the Bulgarian and Romanian databases and interfaces.

New language versions available

It is now possible to search via the advanced search in Bulgarian and Romanian. An interface in these two languages is also available.

Better search by relationship between documents

A drop-down menu allows defining the primary role of a document (see figure). Thanks to this new feature it is possible to formulate queries narrowed down to, for example:

• Instruments annulling a decision of the ECJ
• Sector 3 documents repealed by other documents of the same sector
• Sector 5 legislative proposals adopted by sector 3 documents

Text search on EuroVoc descriptor

So far it was only possible to search by EuroVoc descriptor using an identifier, for example “003574” for “professional association”. From now on it is possible to search directly with the text of the EuroVoc descriptor, in the language of the interface.

A “lighter” interface

Elements overloading the interface have been removed, such as the incomplete list of Member States.
