UITVOERINGSVERORDENING (EU) Nr. 1147/2014 VAN DE COMMISSIE
van 23 oktober 2014
tot wijziging van Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant
DE EUROPESE COMMISSIE,
Gezien het Verdrag betreffende de werking van de Europese Unie,
Gezien Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 van de Raad van 20 december 2002 tot uitvoering van de Kimberleyprocescertificering voor de internationale handel in ruwe diamant (1), en met name artikel 20,
Overwegende hetgeen volgt:

Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 bevat de lijst met deelnemers aan de Kimberleyprocescertificering en hun naar behoren aangewezen bevoegde autoriteiten. |

(2) |
Op 8 oktober 2014 publiceerde de voorzitter van het Kimberleyproces een nota over punt 13 van Resolutie 2153(2014) van de Veiligheidsraad van de Verenigde Naties, waarbij de maatregelen ter voorkoming van invoer van ruwe diamant uit Ivoorkust worden beëindigd. De voorzitter van het Kimberleyproces verzocht alle deelnemers maatregelen te treffen teneinde de diamanthandel met Ivoorkust te hervatten. De lijst van deelnemers van bijlage II moet daarom worden herzien. |

Voorts dient het adres van het aanspreekpunt van Cambodja in bijlage II te worden aangepast. |
|
(4) |
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 moet bijgevolg dienovereenkomstig worden gewijzigd. |
|
(5) |
Om de doeltreffendheid van de in deze verordening vastgestelde maatregelen te garanderen dient deze verordening onmiddellijk in werking te treden, |
HEEFT DE VOLGENDE VERORDENING VASTGESTELD:
Artikel 1
Bijlage II bij Verordening (EG) nr. 2368/2002 wordt vervangen door de tekst in de bijlage bij deze verordening.
Artikel 2
Deze verordening treedt in werking op de dag van bekendmaking in het Publicatieblad van de Europese Unie.
Deze verordening is verbindend in al haar onderdelen en is rechtstreeks toepasselijk in elke lidstaat.
