COUNCIL DECISION
of 16 June 2016
renewing the term of office of the alternate to the Chairperson of the Board of Appeal of the Community Plant Variety Office

THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 2100/94 of 27 July 1994 on Community plant variety rights (1), and in particular Article 47(1) thereof,
Whereas:

(1) |
By Decision of 12 July 2011 (2), the Council appointed Ms Sari Kaarina HAUKKA as alternate to the Chairperson of the Board of Appeal of the Community Plant Variety Office (the ‘Office’). |

(2) |
The term of office of Ms Sari Kaarina HAUKKA is to expire on 14 October 2016. |

(3) |
On 4 May 2016, after obtaining the favourable opinion of the Administrative Council of the Office, the Commission proposed that the term of office of Ms Sari Kaarina HAUKKA be renewed, |
HAS ADOPTED THIS DECISION:
Article 1
The term of office of Ms Sari Kaarina HAUKKA as alternate to the Chairperson of the Board of Appeal of the Community Plant Variety Office is hereby renewed for a period of 5 years with effect from 15 October 2016.
Article 2
The Chairperson of the Administrative Council of the Office shall be empowered to provide for all the arrangements necessary to implement Article 1.
Article 3
This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption.
