Annual expenditure planned under the scheme or overall amount of individual aid granted to the company: The planned expenditure for the provision of the services covered by this aid scheme will not exceed EUR 400 000 (including VAT).

Maximum aid intensity: The aid intensity is up to 100 % of the total cost of removal of fallen stock and up to 75 % of the cost of the destruction of cattle and sheep and goat carcases.

Date of implementation: From the date of publication of the registration number of the request for exemption on the website of the Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development.

Duration of scheme or individual aid award: Until 2013 at the latest.

Objective of aid: The aim of the regional aid scheme is to compensate cattle, sheep and goat breeders for the expenditure incurred in connection with the collection and disposal of fallen stock between 1 January and 31 December 2009, with the possibility of an extension each year until 2013, at the request of the regional veterinary services, in an efficient and uniform manner throughout the region and thus guarantee that all breeders can have their fallen stock removed in a limited period of time.

Other information: The final beneficiaries of the aid scheme are all micro, small and medium-sized cattle, sheep and goat breeding farms in the Marche Region which need to have cattle, sheep and goat carcases removed and destroyed, including those of animals culled by order of the competent health authority as a result of infectious and widespread diseases and on the advice of the competent animal health services.

Annual expenditure planned under the scheme or overall amount of individual aid granted to the company: The expenditure planned under the scheme is EUR 0,237 million per year.

Maximum aid intensity: The maximum aid intensity is stipulated to be 30 % of eligible expenditure. The maximum amount of aid granted to a given company will not exceed EUR 400 000 over a period of three fiscal years. This sum may be increased to EUR 500 000 if the company is located in a less-favoured area or in areas referred to in Article 36(a)(i), (ii) or (iii) of Regulation (EC) No 1698/2005.

Objective of aid: The objective is the conservation and improvement of the natural environment, through promoting the adoption of renewable energy, particularly solar thermal energy.
